Our team’s foundation is a family business built on hands-on experience. Siblings Celeste Fay and William Fay began their careers working alongside their father, William K. Fay, repairing hydropower projects, conducting engineering analyses, and performing dam inspections. This early exposure to the industry sparked a lifelong commitment to hydropower.

Both Celeste and William went on to earn degrees in civil engineering, and their careers have included work with engineering firms, Alden Research Lab, and roles as asset owners for various hydropower projects. Throughout, they’ve continued providing specialized services to the hydropower industry—sharing their deep technical knowledge and practical insight.

Over the years, they have built a trusted network of some of the most experienced hydropower experts in the country. Our small, dedicated team covers all aspects of hydropower, from fieldwork and design to operations, FERC compliance and project development.
